The World Cup is over, but Montclair’s calendar isn’t slowing down. This weekend runs Friday July 31 through Sunday August 2, with an outdoor market in Clifton, a nostalgia-fueled dance party at Porta, an escape room night in Bloomfield and live music to close out Sunday. 90s vs. 2000s Dance Party at Porta Montclair

Porta is throwing a two-floor throwback party Friday night, pitting the 90s against the 2000s with live DJs and an MC playing nothing but hits from both decades. Pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B: if it was on the radio between 1990 and 2009, it’s probably in the set. Runs late; restricted to ages 21 and up.
Escape Room Night in Bloomfield
Friday, July 31, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. | Amazing Escape Room, 281 Liberty St., Bloomfield | $25-$35 per person
North Jersey Bowling, Volleyball, Tennis And More, a local social Meetup group, is heading to Amazing Escape Room in Bloomfield on Friday evening. Cost per person runs $25 to $35 depending on group size, with a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more. No food or drinks allowed on site; street parking available. The organizer is also planning a diner or bar outing afterward. RSVP through the Meetup group.
