Montclair Pride finally arrives on Sunday, October 11, after two postponements, and the same day brings live jazz and tap dance at Bleu Coffee and a brass quintet at Van Vleck House & Gardens. Saturday belongs to the Perú Fusion Festival Grand Tasting at 18 Label Studios, with unlimited Peruvian tastings, pisco cocktails and a live band. Here’s what’s worth your time October 9 to 11.
Perú Fusion Festival Grand Tasting

The Grand Tasting brings Peruvian restaurants and pisco brands from across the tri-state area to Montclair for an afternoon of food and drink. One ticket covers unlimited tastings and unlimited pisco cocktails created for the festival. Peruvian chefs lead a ceviche and tiradito master class from 2 to 2:30 p.m., and the band Moneco, which plays psychedelic cumbia and Criolla and Afro-Peruvian rhythms, performs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Parking is free and refunds are not offered. Sacred Self Wellness Event

Sacred Self fills Lackawanna Station with hands-on workshops, wellness vendors, yoga, poetry and food, rain or shine. Entry is free; tickets are required only for the opening-ceremony sound baths held beforehand.
Live Jazz And Tap Dance At Bleu Coffee

Grammy-nominated AC Lincoln headlines an afternoon of live jazz and tap dance at Bleu Coffee. The series runs every other Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., so this is the next date on the calendar. No entry fee, walk-ins are welcome.
Montclair Pride At Lackawanna Station

Out Montclair holds the fifth annual Montclair Pride on Sunday, under the theme “Come Out for Montclair Pride.” The festival was originally set for June 13, then moved to August 1, and now lands on October 11 to coincide with National Coming Out Day. Expect live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, community organizations, elected officials and a family-friendly area. This is the festival’s first year at Lackawanna Station, at Bloomfield Avenue and Grove Street.
Second Sunday Concert: Gabrieli Brass Quintet At Van Vleck

The Montclair Foundation opens its Second Sunday Concert Series season with the Gabrieli Brass Quintet, performing in the living room at Van Vleck House & Gardens. All reserved seats have been taken, but the Foundation says some seats may open up just before the concert begins, so arriving early is your best shot. The concert is free but a suggested donation of $10 to support the series is appreciated
